First-ever Korean Series suspension in baseball history...resumes today with Game 2



After being suspended due to heavy rain, Game 1 of the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) Korean Series will resume today with Game 2.

Yesterday's Game 1 of the best-of-seven 2024 KBO Korean Series (KS-7) at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju was suspended due to heavy rain in the top of the sixth inning when Samsung took a 1-0 lead with runners on first and second base.

The umpires waited for more than 40 minutes, but when the rain didn't stop, they called a suspended game.

This is the first time a suspended game has been called in a postseason game since the inception of professional baseball.

The suspended Game 1 will resume at 4 p.m. today (April 22) 토토사이트 with Samsung batting in the top of the sixth inning, and Game 2 of the Korean Series will begin one hour after the conclusion of Game 1.

KBS Korea will be broadcasting Game 2 of the Korean Series between KIA and Samsung.
